Greetings dear authors, 

The international refereed and peer-reviewed journal "Defense and Science", already quite well-known in the scientific community, begins accepting articles until November 2025. 

To publish an article in the journal, you must register electronically at https://forms.gle/Bi32gqLrhLMsbj3g7. The article must adhere to the established sourcing/citation and article presentation rules. The editorial board reviews the work, which is formatted in accordance with the "Rules for the Writing, Formatting, and Presentation of Articles in a Scientific Journal."

To be published, please send your article to defenseandscience@eta.edu.ge. The article should be in Word format, and the articles should be in English.If you have any additional questions, please send us an email at defenseandscience@eta.edu.ge. 

The following data must be indicated in the article: 

- The title of the article must be in English;

- Information about the author(s) - email address, last name, first name, academic degree, position, place of work/study must be in English;

- Annotation on the relevance and novelty of the topic, main content aspects, the summary should be in Georgian/English for citizens of Georgia, and in English for citizens of foreign countries;

- Keywords about the content of the article should be in Georgian/English for citizens of Georgia, and in English for citizens of foreign countries (5-10 words or phrases);

- Bibliographic list.

All submitted articles will be evaluated using a double anonymization process. Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection within 5 days of submission. Only authors with a PhD degree and doctoral students are allowed to publish. The Master's program is only possible with co-authors. 

Checklist for preparing material for submission One of the stages of the submission process is for the author to check that the material complies with all of the following points. Materials may be returned to the author if they do not meet these requirements.  

  • The article has not been previously published or submitted for consideration in another journal(nor is there any explanation provided in the editor’s comments).
  • The submitted file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where possible, URLs to references are provided.
  • The text uses single line spacing; 12-point font; italics instead of underlining (except for URLaddresses); and all illustrations, images, and tables are placed in appropriate places in the text,not at the bottom of the text.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the author’s guidelines.
