Source Citation and Quotation Standards

1. Any paper to be published in the journal should properly cite relevant sources;

2. It is accepted to use only one type of source reference standard in the paper to be published in the journal; it is not allowed to mix different citation standards in a piece of paperwork;

3. The source should be cited in the form of a footnote using Arabic numerals. A footnote given in the text should be preceded by a closing punctuation (period, exclamation point, question mark). Using a footnote before the punctuation mark is allowed to clarify a single word or term.

4. Citation standards for the English language papers to be published in the journal are generally defined by the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA), fourth edition. Under the decision of the Editorial Board, it is possible to use another standard of source citation in the special issue;

5. The rules for citing the source of the papers presented in the Georgian language to be published in the journal are defined as follows (the rules outlined in this paragraph are essentially defined by the fourth edition of the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA) and are only intended to help the authors; examples are provided for clarification, the types of sources are not exhaustive).
