The following persons are authorized to submit a paper for publication:
Professors and teachers (foreign and Georgian), invited teachers, independent researchers, doctoral students of the LEPL-David Agmashenebeli Georgian National Self-Defense Academy, as well as university and scientific research centers;
Prerequisite for accepting the article:
To publish an article in the journal, you must register electronically at https://forms.gle/Bi32gqLrhLMsbj3g7. The article must adhere to the style of attesting to the source used and the rules for presenting the article.The editorial board will review the work, which is formatted in accordance with the “Rules for the Execution, Formatting and Presentation of Articles in a Scientific Journal”. The article to be published should be sent electronically to the following address: defenseandscience@eta.edu.ge
Requirements for formatting a scientific paper:
When typing the article, use only Times New Roman font.
Article submission rules: Article language - English; Paper size A4; Margin: 2.5 on all sides; Number of pages - 8-15;
Article text format:
Article title - Center, Bold, font size -14, must be written in English;
Author/authors' name, surname - centered, bold, font size 12, must be written in English; Author/authors: organization/educational institution - centered, font size 12, must be written in English;
Author/authors: affiliation/position/master's/doctoral student - Center, font size 12, must be written in English;
Author(s): scientific title and degree - centered, font size 12, must be written in English;Author(s) - ORCID identifier;
Abstract submission rules:
Abstract - centered, bold, font size 12, must be written in English;
Abstract text - adjusted (justify/ Ctrl+J), font size 10; line spacing-1, paragraph spacing-0 (Paragraph, After 0), all lines of a paragraph should be equally spaced from the right margin. The first line of each paragraph should be indented (5 positions).
Keywords - (at least 5 words/word combinations), must be written in English, font size 10; line spacing - 1;
The text of the article - adjusted (Justify/Ctrl+J), font size 12; line spacing -1.15; paragraph spacing - 0 (Paragraph, After 0). All characters in the paragraph should be equally spaced from the right margin. The first line of each paragraph should be indented (5 positions).
References should be placed on a new page, centered, bold, font size - 12.
The structure of the article should include the following parts:
Introduction - the scope and significance of the topic, the relevance of the work, introducing the reader to the issue, an analysis/review of research conducted on the topic, and the formulation of one's own hypothesis.This chapter should discuss why the work is of scientific value to the reader.
The main part includes the research methodology and the results obtained;
The concluding part includes the findings, possible recommendations, and future perspectives.The list of used literature, the literature listed in the bibliography is not numbered or indicated, the list should be arranged alphabetically, with the surnames of the authors (in the absence of such), and titles.Bibliographic data is not included and the source is checked in the original language.
Footnote:A footnote is placed at the end of the pages in the text of an article. It may appear as a source (literature, normative material, case law) cited and paraphrased in the text of the article,which are numbered with numbers (font size 9), as well as the author's notes (explanations), are marked with a snowflake* and, accordingly, are not numbered.
The source should be cited in the form of a footnote with Arabic numerals. (We use Arabic numerals to indicate citations, to add references at the end of a sentence, after the punctuation mark, we go to the References menu and click Insert Footnote).A footnote in the text must be preceded by a closing punctuation mark (period, comma, exclamation point, question mark). The use of a footnote before a punctuation mark is permissible for the purpose of explaining a single word or term;
Tables, diagrams:Tables, diagrams and other visual material in the paper should be presented: centered, in TIFF, PNG, JPEG formats, the title should be placed below the table/diagram, etc., font size 8.

1. All articles submitted for publication in the journal will be checked using the plagiarism detection program "Turnitin". The work is evaluated positively if: the similarity coefficient does not exceed 10%;
2. An article submitted for publication in the journal will undergo a double blind review by experts in the field. In case of differences between the experts' conclusions, the article will be sent to a third reviewer for evaluation.
3. The author(s) of the article will be responsible for the opinions expressed in the article.
